Love Your Life then You will Live Happy and Healthy Life

Almost all of us wish to live longer, do more, and spend more time with our family. But
even if we like to live longer, our lifestyle is otherwise. Living longer, loving life means living healthy.

We hear a lot about living a healthy lifestyle, but how do we do it? A healthy person is somebody who doesn’t smoke, healthy weight, eats healthy and exercises. Sounds easy? Not so easy when we’re trying to do it. In trying to live healthy, it is important to take simple steps or make small changes until we have totally incorporated healthy living into our lifestyle without changing drastically.

Exercise. People lack activity nowadays. Movement, even in moderate activities like doing chores, gardening and walking , makes a difference. Just adding movement to our daily routine can reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, osteoporosis and fractures, stress and symptoms of anxiety and depression.

There are simple ways of moving our body without spending cash for gym membership. We can do the following:

• Spending one day of the week doing something physical with the family, like playing in the park.

• Walking more! Walking 20 every minutes everyday can do great results, not only to how you feel physically but also to your weight.

• Do some chores like gardening, raking leaves, sweeping the floor.

• Be aware of your physical activities every day. If you notice that most of your time is spent on a chair, then incorporate more movement into you daily schedule.

Eating well is another practice of living healthy. Clean and healthy diet can improve your health as well as your weight. Again, the key is sneak smaller changes until you’ve realized that you are completely eating healthy. You can do the following for you to eat healthier:

• Eat more fruit with your cereals, salads and meals.

• Eat more vegetables. Add vegetables to your sandwich, pasta sauce. Instead of digging into chips for quick snacks, have available fruits and canned vegetables.

• Eat low-fat or fat free dairy. You can change your usual milk into skim milk or fat free yogurt.

• Look through your cabinets or fridge and pick three food that you eat every day. The next time you went shopping, look for low-calorie substitutes for those three items.

Not only is it important to reduce your calorie intake when losing weight. You should also know when to eat. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the one meal that should be missed. Lunch should be healthy but less than what you ate for breakfast. Avoid eating too much later the day. Dinner should be healthy and light. It is best to avoid dinner snacks or eating before going to bed.

Another part of healthy lifestyle is avoiding stress. There are numerous studies showing that stress is a major contributor of poor health. It can even result to high-blood pressure, headaches, upset stomach, poor posture, and many more. Keeping stress in check will make you feel a lot better.

Sleep. Sleeping and resting will enable your body to recover from all muscle and mental work. Laughing is also a proven factor towards good health. Laughing enables muscle to relax, stress hormone product is reduced, even pain is reduced, the body’s immune system is improved, high-blood pressure is lowered, heart and lungs are strengthened and you feel better overall.

Drastic changes are not necessarily needed when you are trying to live healthy. There are numerous ways such as incorporating healthy living little by little into your lifestyle. Living healthy means you are loving life.

Your Health Your Pride

by Rob Smith
You are a big piece of creation. No matter what you believe in either you believe in God or Darwins theory, one thing is certain, you are one complex creation. Form the smallest cell of your body to the largest gland, organ or part of your self, you are a masterpiece.

But sometimes we dont look at it that way. We abuse ourselves with too much stress, too much vices too much smoking and alcohol. We even abuse eating. That leads us to one massive destruction to ourselves. We lose the original figure we had. We gain weight; we develop wrinkles at an early age. We lose our sense of beauty and we look older than our parents.

We then compare ourselves with others. Then we shrink just by looking at them because they are more gorgeous than we are. Then we start to blame others because we believe that they are the ones that put the curse upon us.

Then we start to ask ourselves. Is it too late? Is there any hope left? Am I going back to normal again?

No, you have not lost your pride and your treasure. Your complex and beautiful body is just there waiting to be revealed and show its splendor to the world. It is not too late.

How To Succeed in Event Photography

by Ernest Williams

Event photography has always been a lucrative business for the creative minds. An event photographer receives a good fee for making use of his photographic skills to capture pictures in different events of both professional and informal nature. People want to treasure such events and look back at them fondly through the pictures, which is why event photography is so significant.

Any photographer who has taken some professional training can take up event photography. But in order to be good at it there are a few things that must be remembered.

The first and foremost point to consider is the kind of event that is being photographed and the ultimate use of the photos. For instance, if you are covering a corporate event, where the photos are intended to be published in an in-house magazine, then you should focus on the exact proceedings of the event and develop a series of photos that display how the event unfolded. On the other hand, if you are photographing a personal party, then it would be more prudent to focus on the people, especially their faces.

Being alert is an important trait for event photography. You should be absolutely conscious of the happenings around you and should know when to click and when to hold for sometime. Even the customers favour those photographers who can appreciate the things going on around them and need not be informed about the right moment to click a picture. This is one skill which comes with experience but you need to make a continuous effort on your part.

Familiarity with the site where the event is being organized is helpful in event photography. You must be aware of the spots where the most important parts of the event are going to take place and the ideal locations that would allow you to click good photographs of the event.

The photographer must also have the technical knowledge of the camera and its features so that pictures involving tough angles can be easily clicked without losing out on any significant moment of the event. Lighting is crucial for taking good photos and to take good pictures, the event photographer should be conscious of how much of it will be available at the time of the event. On the basis of this knowledge, you must be ready with appropriate equipment and with the camera in the right mode.

Finally, an event photographer also needs to have an affable personality. You should be able to mingle with the people that you would photograph. If you are able to interact with the people and understand the mood of the event then the subjects would be more at ease and the pictures will be much more natural.

Building Self Esteem in Your Preschooler

By R. Harvey Bravman

Tips for building self esteem

The most effective way to build self esteem in preschoolers is to set and recognize realistic goals. Reaching these goals is a concrete way preschoolers can develop feelings of pride and accomplishment. On the other hand, valuing perfect performance over effort or creativity, can be a source of frustration and actually lower self-esteem. Family and parents are the most important people in a young child's life. How they view projects from their child's Boston preschool program is important to the development of self esteem.

* Show interest in your preschooler's work - When children return from their Boston preschool program, it's a great idea for parents to invite their kids to show the day's project and describe the process of creating it. A parent's interest in schoolwork helps children to also place value on their efforts.

* Focus on their effort - By focusing on effort, parents convey that creativity and imagination are more important than making a 'perfect' project. For example, asking children to describe the work they did at preschool in Boston and how they feel about it, rather than noting whether or not they stayed within the lines builds self esteem.

* Share your preschooler's pride - The importance of a parent's attention is critical in building self esteem. Actively showing pride in work your child creates in their Boston preschool program is priceless. Parents can display projects from their child's Boston preschool throughout the home, for example, or share digital copies with relatives living elsewhere. Children follow their parent's example when it comes to placing value. When parents show that effort, imagination and hard work are important, children learn that their work at preschool in Boston matters. In turn, they come to take pride in their efforts.

What is Positive psychology?

What is positive psychology?
Positive psychology is the study of those virtues and qualities that enable people, groups and institutions to thrive and be successful. In short, it is a study of what makes life worth living. This branch of psychology has come to the fore in just under 5 years. The aim of positive psychology is to make the average person more successful by nurturing the innate talent in them. As a part of this quest, the practitioners of positive psychology undertake and promote research, education and training in positive psychology.

The basis of positive psychology is the belief that every individual wants to lead a fulfilling and happy life by nurturing what is best within themselves and increasing fruitful experiences at work, love and social gatherings.
At the core of positive psychology lie three main concerns:
• Positive emotions
• Affirmative individual behaviors
• Constructive institutions
The first of these is positive emotions. An important part of positive psychology is to understand the feelings of happiness humans feel within themselves. Happiness, according to positive psychologists, is important because this alone can contribute to highly successful individuals. People who are happy are more productive, are better at converting opportunities, are generally more successful and are also constructive in spreading happiness. So, in order to understand the basis of positive emotions, positive psychology studies how individuals can create happiness in the present and faith in a successful future. However, in doing so, positive psychology does not deny the importance of the distressing and negative aspects of life. Positive psychologists agree that human nature is filled with strife, selfishness and negativities. They only seek to explore the other side of the coin.

Positive individual behaviors are what contribute to feelings of happiness. So, they are an important part of positive psychology. Some of the most common individual behaviors studied by positive psychology include the capacity to feel happiness, courage, strength, convictions, ambitions, creativity, self-knowledge and self-control. Positive psychology also seeks to understand and encourage the existence of social institutions that foster cooperation, social justice, leadership, teamwork and tolerance.
In a nutshell, the objectives of positive psychology are

• To foster primary institutions that help children to flourish and succeed
• To foster a culture in workplaces that enhance productivity and success
• To set up communities that improve cooperation
• To encourage a state of mind that is conducive to all things positive.

Positive psychology has immense importance in our social and cultural life. This kind of a science helps psychologists understand why individuals and groups break down and why people are unable to achieve the kind of success they dream of. It also seeks to learn why negative events have a deeper impact on our psyche than positive events. By doing this, it seeks to understand how positive events can become more powerful. In this way, positive psychology teaches people to uplift the quality of their lives. In this regard, it is to be noted that for most people, happiness is accidental. They do not think that it can be created. Nor do they see the importance of happiness. But positive psychology shows that we can make our own choices and these choices can alter the quality of our life.

Bring Happiness In Life: Improve Self Esteem

By: Nick Clipton
Self esteem is one of the most important qualities that each of us needs to develop to live an expansive, emotionally comfortable and morally free life. Without sufficient self esteem, we become chameleons, changing our thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and behaviors to please a person to get through an experience. Without sufficient self esteem, it is difficult to take the high road when life presents its normal stressors, obstacles and problems. Good self esteem is a building block for strong character.

Begin to improve your self esteem by starting small. It cannot be that you wake up one morning to plenty of self love and singing your own praises. Having negative thoughts can come as a result of past habits. Remember, too, that negative programming did not happen overnight either. To get rid of negative programming for positive thinking, time is required. You need to educate, dedicate and practice as often as you can.

To improve self esteem, make a list of all your positive attributes. It does not matter if they are physical attributes that you like about yourself or talents you have. Challenge yourself to add one positive comment about yourself every day. Look for opportunities to affirm yourself positively. Pat yourself on the back when you have accomplished something well, instead of looking at the things that you have failed to achieve. As your list grows, you improve your self esteem and positive thinking takes over your mind.

Do you know how to improve your self esteem? Probably not. To make it a little bit easier for you and to achieve your goals, here are some tips that you can utilize right away.

*Build up your self-esteem. You must take an inventory. What do you want to improve or change about the way you interact with others? Try to make only one change at a time. Always check you progress before making another change.

*Set clear goals for yourself before every interaction. Know what you want. Think about how the people you will be meeting can help you reach those goals. Then decide how to approach each person accordingly. Apply this regularly and you will notice a difference.

*Visibly respond to the other person. Smile, nod agreement, and address him or her by name. Apply all you listening skills to visibly respond. The body language is the most important part of a conversation. Practice, practice, practice…

*Pay more attention to the other person than to yourself. Are you responding to what may be going on in his or her life? Don't filter out bad news. Put yourself in the other person's shoes. Be caring. To improve self esteem is not to never ever feel insecure again. Everybody feels insecure in certain situations, but the difference is that the confident person never looses the feeling of self worth and love he has for himself, even when he's feeling some insecurity.

Tips for a Healthy Mind

Positivity rules
Try to stay open-minded and positive. Negative, rigid and inflexible attitudes decrease your ability to deal with the stresses of life and prevent you from enjoying yourself.
Get your zzz’s
Be sure to get an adequate amount of sleep each night. Fatigue can interfere with the information you have already stored and your ability to learn new things.
Beneficial B12
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to serious and irreversible physiological and psychological problems. Get your intake from foods of animal origin like meat, fish, eggs and dairy products.
Stress-free solutions
To combat stress, go outside for a brisk walk instead of smoking a cigarette. Reach for your running shoes instead of the TV remote or a chocolate bar. Regular physical activity (at least 30 minutes a day for most days of the week) and a healthy, balanced, low-fat diet will not only make you feel better but help you to better manage your stress.
Morning energy
Need a boost in the mornings? Time your coffeemaker so that the aroma of coffee coincides with your alarm. Sing in the shower. Use lotions with stimulating scents such as mint. Plan at least one fun thing to do each day. Eat breakfast.

Developing Will Power and Self Discipline

Developing Will Power and Self Discipline
by Remez Sasson

Most people admire and respect strong individuals, who have won great success by manifesting will power and self discipline. They admire people, who with sheer will power, self discipline and ambition, have improved their life, learned new skills, overcame difficulties and hardships, reduced their weight, rose high in their chosen field or advanced on the spiritual path.

The truth is that everyone can reach high levels of will power and self-discipline through a practical method of training. These inner power are not reserved for a few special people.

Will power and self discipline are two of the most important and useful inner powers in everyone's life, and have always been considered as essential tools for success in all areas of life. They can be learned and developed like any other skill, yet, in spite of this, only few take any steps to develop and strengthen them in a systematic way.

What is will power?
It is the inner strength to make a decision, take action, and handle and execute any aim or task until it is accomplished, regardless of inner and outer resistance, discomfort or difficulties.
It bestows the ability to overcomes laziness, temptations and negative habits, and to carry out actions, even if they require effort, are unpleasant and tedious or are contrary to one's habits.

What is self discipline?
It is the rejection of instant gratification in favor of something better. It is the giving up of instant pleasure and satisfaction for a higher and better goal.

The purpose of self-discipline is not living a limiting or a restrictive lifestyle. It does not mean being narrow minded or living like a fakir. It is one of the pillars of success and power. It bestows the inner strength to focus all your energy on your goal, and persevere until it is accomplished.

Both of these abilities are required for daily actions and decisions, and also for making major decisions and attaining major success. They are required for doing a good job, for studying, building a business, losing weight, bodybuilding and physical exercises, maintaining good relationships, changing habits, self improvement, meditation, spiritual growth, keeping and carrying out promises and for almost everything else.

10 Ways To Motivate Yourself To Lose Weight

Many people start off the New Year by making resolutions to lose weight and get in shape. Sometimes, this task is often easier said than done. Some people last a little longer than others, but for most motivation starts to sag soon into the fitness plan. There are easy ways that almost anyone can use to help motivate your self to a better body. Whether you are looking to lose a lot or just a few pounds or you want to exercise more to tone your body, you can create a fitness plan that can help you stay motivated.

1.Confidence: Confidence is the number one way for you to motivate yourself to exercise more or to stick to a diet. Confidence in yourself is also known as self-efficacy and it means that once you believe that you can do something, no matter how hard, you do it. Those that have a lot of self-confidence believe that they have the power to make changes in themselves. Those without solid self-confidence will find that they will have a much more difficult time sticking to any fitness plan and will not exert much effort.

2.Support: Having a solid support system of both friends and family will help keep almost anyone motivated to reach their goals. When a person starts a new fitness routine or diet program, many changes need to happen. It is important to surround yourself with others that can support you and understand your personal goals. Let those around you know that you need them to support your new goal and try to include them in your plans.
Positive Attitude: Your motivation will soar if you keep a positive attitude towards your new

3.fitness goals. Think about the positive aspects of a healthier lifestyle and exercise plan and keep that in mind you may be tempted to skip a day at the gym. When following any fitness plan, it is also important to remember that you may have setbacks or you may not achieve your goals as fast as you had hoped. Keeping your outlook positive even during the rough times will help you stay focused on your goals.

4.Follow a Plan: You will find that you have an easier time staying motivated when you make a plan and stick to it. Without understanding each step you need to take to reach your goals, it will be harder to see the end results. For example, if you are trying to eat healthier, write down what foods you want to eliminate and foods your want to add to your diet. As you progress, compare your results with your plan and that will help you stay on track.

5.Stay Organized: Staying organized will help keep you motivated to stay on your new fitness plan. If you plan on going to the gym a few times a week, you can get everything you need ready to go the night before. Have your shoes, gym clothes and membership card by the door. Not only will this make it easier for you find exactly what you need, but it will also serve as a visual reminder of your goal. Keep your days planned out and schedule time in for healthy cooking or working out.

6.Types of Motivation: Intrinsic and extrinsic are both types of motivation. Understand what they mean and which one helps keep you motivated. Those who are intrinsically motivated do not need outside forces, such as rewards to stay focused. They have the power from within to stay motivated. Other forces, such as rewards or praise from others, motivate those who are motivated extrinsically. Most people feel motivated both ways. Understand what kind of motivation helps you stay focused.

7.Reward Yourself: A reward system can be a great motivator, especially in a new fitness plan. Give yourself a small reward when you meet each of your goals. This will help you get to your final goal. You may choose to buy yourself a new shirt when you lose ten pounds or maybe go see a movie. Whatever appeals to you would be a beneficial reward system.

8.Role Models: When you are trying to get a better body through a fitness plan, look for a role model. That person does not have to be famous, but anybody who you admire. Maybe it is someone you know that takes time to work out or eat right. Use that person to look to when your motivation is sagging.

9.Information: As soon as you commit yourself to a new fitness plan, arm yourself with lots of information. Look at different diets and exercise plans. Learn the ins and outs of each one and you will be able to make an informed decision to use one that is right for you.

10.Interests: Another great way to stay motivated is by having other interests. When you start to feel frustrated, you can set it aside and do something you really love. It might even be possible to include what you love doing to help you achieve your fitness goals.

ANGER MANAGEMENT

The Best Way Is Not Always The Hard Way
by Mark Goodworthy

Unlike other emotions, anger can cause negative effects on our health. When you get angry, your body displays physiological changes like sweating, increased heart beats and even increased temperature.

If your body is not in good physical condition, anger could probably strain your heart and increase your blood pressure. Of course, everybody knows that people with heart conditions should avoid getting angry.

Learning how to control your anger is very difficult. It would take a lot of will power and discipline. You can always look for a method or technique which effectively controls your anger. The key is finding one that you feel comfortable with.
Relaxation Techniques
If you feel that you can control your anger on your own, you can try several relaxation techniques. Whenever you feel that you are getting angry,
*you should take deep breaths. Deep breathing would slow down your heart rate and take your focus away from your anger.
*Another effective method is by counting numbers until your anger subsides. This exercise will also help you focus on other things besides your angry emotions.

Happiness: The Quest
by: Lambert Klein
Happiness is something many of us strive for. Why is it so hard to achieve, especially at times when you need it the most? How do we change a gloomy mood into a lighter or happier one? There are some things within our power that will help us accomplish these goals. What are some benefits of happiness that could encourage you to work towards it even more?
• Health
• Self Confidence
• A sense of Purpose
• More Productivity
• Achieve Your Goals
• Weight Loss
Funny thing is that the above list also works in reverse. If you are healthy, self confident and all the rest listed, than you will most likely be happier.
Sometimes happiness is staring us right in the face. Here are some ways that you can create happiness in your life.

Exercise: It appears that exercising comes up a lot when we are speaking about improving various things in our lives. It has been shown to improve mood by making us healthier and increasing endorphins.

Foods & Diet: Eating chocolate is probably more of a pleasure than sustained happiness, even though it can provide us with a short-lived boost. A healthy diet though is vital for our health and happiness.
Too much sugar and junk foods are provisional emotional boosters. In the long run these problem foods will degrade us physically as well as emotionally.
Eat a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables, including raw veggies. Cut back on unhealthy foods and don't "Super Size" it.

Supplements: If you are not receiving all of your nutrients in your diet then you may want to supplement by taking vitamins. T
here are some specific supplements that target your mood. You could discuss these with your health practitioner.

Music: Music can bring miracles to your mood. Go ahead and listen to something upbeat and happy.

Rewards: Happiness comes from rewards as well. They can be simple things. You find a great bargain on something you been wanting. Maybe someone offers you a simple item of interest. You do a task and are complimented on it by someone else or yourself.
Even finding a coin on the sidewalk can give you a "Reward" feeling that can bring happiness to you.
The greatest reward can come from giving a compliment to someone or saying a kind word.

Gratitude: Be grateful for what you have. This simple statement can make a giant difference in your life! Everyday think of everything you have. The enormous things, and the little things. Are you living in a cardboard box? No. Then be very grateful. Yes? Be grateful for the cardboard box.
Have gratitude for friends and family, the home you live in, the food you eat. Isn't it great having air to breath, freedom to go where you want. Don't take these for granted but have gratitude and give thanks.

Love: Well Love can clearly bring happiness. Love for your spouse, friends, neighbors and strangers.
Give Love and you will receive Love. Learn to Love Yourself. Let's all remember that when we interact with others.

Enjoyment: Do what you enjoy. This could be a hobby or going for a walk in the park. If you do things that you like it's bound to bring happiness.

Forgiveness: Try a bit harder to say kind words to others. Place yourself in the other's person place for a moment. Sure there are some people that act so mean and hateful.
Remember you only hurt yourself when you return meanness or hold resentment and anger inside.
Help Others: Find ways to make others happy. You may be surprised that by willingly helping others to find joy can have a positive impact on you as well. Help others to find meaning in life. Keep them company.
Build Self Confidence: Do your work the best you can. Learn new skills. Find meaning in your career and life. Enjoy a new hobby or game.
You can boost your self-confidence by learning new and enjoyable things. Raise your self-confidence and you raise your happiness. Happiness can make you smarter! Is it really surprising that positive attracts positive? If you do these things you will increase your happiness.
What is the most important thing to you? Is it money, a fancy car or a mansion, maybe your health? What about happiness? Well let's think a moment…. If you have happiness, all the happiness you want or need, would that be the most important thing to you? What good is money or the rest without happiness? If you are truly happy you won't need to worry about the rest. If you require money to be happy then you will have it.
Maybe the saying, "Money Can't Buy Happiness", should be "Happiness Can Produce Money".
Try to release all anger and negative emotions: You can accomplish this easier once you realize you are only hurting yourself and other loved ones around you. Sure it will take regular practice.
You may struggle with this, but it can become second nature after awhile. It's up to you. Do you want to be negative and unhappy or positive and learn to be happier? You can start now by adding positive attributes to your life. Be good, smile and put on a happy face!

The Inner Dialogue

The Inner Dialogue
by Remez Sasson

Do you talk with yourself? When we hear people talking aloud with themselves we consider it weird. But have you noticed that all people, with no exception, talk silently with themselves? This, we do not consider odd or weird.
If someone hurts you in some way, or says something you do not like, what do you do? You enact a whole scene of anger in your mind! You envision yourself talking angrily; you shout at him and tell him some not so nice things. Sometimes people spend hours in such negative, destructive inner dialogues.
There is a continuous conversation going on in everyone's head, and a lot of energy, time and attention are wasted on small unimportant incidents. This conversation goes on from the moment of waking until falling asleep.
The inner dialogue continues while working, studying, reading, watching TV, talking, walking, eating, etc. There is a constant judging of people, commenting on what is going on, planning, gossiping, and mental conversations with people.
These inner dialogues bring about a snowball effect. The more we conduct them, the more we become chained to them and unable to stop them. When the emotions are also evoked, more power, energy and attachment are added. This has an adverse effect on the behavior, judgment and general performance.
On many occasions the inner dialogue is negative and strengthens any negative attitude and behavior. Few people have enough faith in themselves and in their abilities, so as to conduct positive inner dialogues.
The process and effect of these inner conversations is similar to affirmations. Constant thinking about the same subject influences the subconscious mind, which consequently accepts these thoughts and words and acts on them. Negative inner dialogues bring negative results, and positive inner dialogues bring positive results.
You can use this process to your advantage. It is an automatic activity, which goes on whether you are aware of it or not. If you learn to become aware of it, you gain the ability to control it. You can turn it into a positive dialogue. If you do that, you come to realize that you have a mighty power in your possession.
Try to be aware of your thoughts. Calmly watch what is going in your mind, even if after a few moments you may forget to do that. The inner dialogue goes on even when physically you are engaged with something else. It is not so easy to mentally separate oneself from the thoughts and words the flow through the mind.
Try to be aware of your thoughts. Calmly watch what is going in your mind, even if after a few moments you may forget to do that. The inner dialogue goes on even when physically you are engaged with something else. It is not so easy to mentally separate oneself from the thoughts and words the flow through the mind.
Whenever you catch yourself conducting a useless, futile conversation with yourself, stop it. Change it to something more useful. Replace the subject, and the words. It is like running an audiotape. Why not replace it with another tape that you like? Why let this tape play by itself? Change the words of the inner dialogue to positive ones about good health, happiness and success.
There is another thing you can do, but this needs concentration and will power. You can try to stop this inner conversation altogether. Try to ignore it and give your mind a vacation. Let the mind rest for a little while. Life can certainly go on, even when this dialogue is silenced. For a little while, enjoy some rest from the mind's incessant conversation.
The inner dialogue is fine sometimes, but most of the time it is just incessant useless chatter, which distract the attention from what you are doing at each moment. By becoming aware of it, and replacing it with a positive one, or just refusing to become involved with it, you gain the ability to control it.
